Photo Shoot – Day 1

Now that the music for my solo piano album is finished I needed to have some photos taken. Thankfully, several of my friends happen to be photographers and have offered to take them. Robert Rainbow from www.RobertRainbowPhotos.com will be doing my first photo shoot.

This past Saturday afternoon we went to a few locations. The first location was the home of a friend of Robert’s. His friend, Tony, owns a beautiful home with a grand piano. We knew we wanted to take some photos with a grand piano and this was a perfect location.

After we left Tony’s house, we went over by Kennesaw Mountain in Kennesaw, GA. The area around Kennesaw Mountain is very rural with lots of woods and open fields. We didn’t spend much time here because it was a very cloudy day and we felt that there wasn’t enough light. The pictures actually came out better than expected once we saw them on the computer. But we only have a handful to choose from.

Before wrapping up our session for the day, we did a series of shots in my recording studio.

Although we got several really good photos from the day’s sessions, I don’t feel any of them were the right feel or scene for my album artwork. Hopefully we can plan another photo shoot soon.

Until Next Time,
Rahn
