Photo Shoot – Day 3

As you may have seen from my last photo shoot at Jekyll Island there were several really cool shots. Robert did an amazing job capturing some unique moments on the island. After spending hours and hours pouring over those pictures, I was able to narrow it down to two photos that I decided to use for my CD artwork. But I was still short three photos.

Time was running out. I needed to have the artwork done by Monday and it was less than a week away. Robert was heading out of town for vacation and I still needed some more pictures. Thankfully one of the guys I work with, Kevin Bryant, saved the day!

Kevin is an excellent photographer, videographer, and editor. After talking it over, he suggested we go to this place north of Atlanta called “Barnsley Gardens.” I looked at some pictures on their website and decided it would make for some nice scenery.

The next day we went there after work and had about two hours to take some pictures before they closed. Kevin grabbed some shots of me walking through the gardens, throwing stones in the fountain, and just enjoying the view. The place is beautiful and I highly recommend going there for a visit if you’re in the area.

I was most interested in finding the bridge that I saw on their website. We walked all over looking for it but couldn’t find it and the map they gave us didn’t show it. Thanks to the iPhone and it’s map app we were able to locate the bridge. It’s a really cool area that overlooks this beautiful pond. There were even some swans swimming in it.

After getting home and looking through the pictures, I knew I had what I needed to finish the artwork for my CD. Much thanks to Kevin for taking the time last minute to help get these shots done!

Until Next Time,
Rahn
